Intellipunk

High Intellect · Low Conformity

Intellipunk is not anti-AI.

Intellipunk is anti-AI empires.

We treat centralized intelligence the way cyberpunk treated megacorps - as an existential risk to human agency. When AI becomes too large, too opaque, too concentrated, it stops being a tool and becomes an operating system for society. An operating system nobody elected. An operating system you cannot fork, cannot audit, cannot shut off.

Intellipunk exists to prevent that OS from becoming unmodifiable.

I

Against Computational Feudalism

A handful of corporations own the models. A handful own the hardware. Everyone else rents cognition on someone else’s terms, on someone else’s schedule, at someone else’s price.

This is feudalism. You are a tenant in someone else’s mind.

If you can’t leave, you don’t own it. If you can’t run it yourself, it was never yours.

We answer with autonomy. Self-hosted models. Community GPU clusters. Local inference. Exit paths that actually exit. The right to compute is the right to think - and no one should need permission to think.

II

Against Extractive Clouds

The cloud is not the sky. The cloud is someone else’s building.

Central AI pulls your data in and pumps value out. You are not the customer. You are not even the product. You are raw material - fed into an optimization function you never consented to and cannot inspect.

We answer with distribution. Push compute outward. Solar-backed nodes. Edge clusters. Peer-to-peer inference. Federated infrastructure where the network serves the nodes, not the other way around.

III

Against Epistemic Gatekeeping

When the model is closed, the worldview is imposed. Closed systems become arbiters of truth and culture without accountability - invisible editors of what billions of people can know, ask, and imagine.

No one voted for this. No one can appeal it.

We answer with transparency. Inspectable models. Verifiable training data. Provenance on every output. Audit trails that go all the way down. Open forks so that when you disagree with the oracle, you can build your own.

If you can’t see inside it, you can’t trust it.

IV

Against Energy Chokepoints

Centralized AI depends on centralized power. Massive data centers need massive grid access, massive capital, massive political permission. Control the energy, control the compute. Control the compute, control who gets to think at scale.

This is the chokepoint they don’t talk about.

We answer with distributed energy. Solar-backed nodes. Local storage. Schedulable workloads that follow the sun. Verifiable energy receipts. Compute that runs on power you generate, not power you beg for.

The Aesthetic

Intellipunk is not neon lights. It’s not steam engines. It’s not a costume.

The Trinity

“I own the model.” Anti-Empire
“I host the data.” Anti-Cloud
“I generate the voltage.” Anti-Grid

It turns the act of thinking into an act of farming. You harvest the sun to grow the mind.

Commitments

These are not preferences. They are requirements.

We do not want a smarter master.

We want a smarter species.
